Sprawl
A low, forward extension where you push off and slide on your chest without fully leaving the ground. Used for balls in the mid-court area where a full dive is too much and a normal dig cannot reach.
Example
The tip bounces, you push, you slide, the ball is up, setter runs, transition on.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a sprawl and a dive?
Sprawl: stay low, long slide. Dive: you leave the floor, then land. Pick sprawl for the three-meter chaos; pick dive for the deep angle.
